Equal Rights

In Kenya, members of the lgbtqi+ community, are highly discriminated against, when it comes to job allocation.

As a matter of fact, nobody in this group is employed by either the government nor by the private entity despite our various qualifications.

When we go to the interviews, we are faced with agonizing questions like `` Are you a man or woman?``, ``You have a penis or a vigina``?.

Our sexuality, physical appearance and dress code should not hinder us from getting a job, but that's the case hence we have no option than to fight the best way we know, and that's through art.

WE REQUIRE EQUAL DISTRIBUTION OF OPPORTUNITIES.

Love

Love is in humans nature , and gender is never a factor.
It is a vice .
Funny, that it's a blessing to others, while a curse to us, the homosexuals.
Kenyan constitution only recognizes an intimacy between a man and a woman.
This need to change ASAP , for the LGBTQI+ persons, have the right to love, marriage and family.

Justice

Each and every member of this group has suffered discrimination, humiliation and harassment of a kind, for being who they are.
Some of us have been raped . Others genitals mutilated.
We have been sent packing from various schools, jobs and are our families' outcasts.
We have been beaten by our own families and in the streets.
We have suffered the unthinkable, and still continue suffering, just because of our sexuality.
People well known to us have been killed, including activists. While others have been forced, to exile.

We need JUSTICE for all the atrocities committed against us.

Protection

Our constitution states that,It is punishable, by over14 years in jail if one is found to be gay.

And over the years, this have enabled homophobic people in committing heinous crimes against humanity.

The same laws state that, the government has the mandate to protect the minority groups,hence we have the right for endorsement.

We have the right to PROTECTION and the only way,is to enact laws that prohibit anyone, from attacking other person's because of their sexuality.

The government should also, henceforth,put up another law, that punishes,those that goes against the initial rule
